Our Approach to Content

SureGift is a creative platform that lets you design and share beautiful invitations using your own photos and artwork. We want the experience to be joyful and stress-free — and part of that means making sure the content you upload is yours to share.

This policy is not meant to be intimidating. It simply explains what kinds of images are appropriate to upload, how we handle reports of infringing content, and what rights you retain when you use SureGift.

Your Responsibility for Uploaded Content

When you upload an image or piece of artwork to SureGift, you represent and confirm that:

  • You own the image, or you have received explicit permission from the rights holder to use it.
  • The image does not infringe on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
  • You have the right to grant SureGift a limited license to display the image as part of your invitation.

SureGift does not claim ownership over images you upload. Your photos and artwork remain yours. We simply display them as part of the invitation you create.

What to Avoid Uploading

To keep SureGift a safe and respectful platform, please avoid uploading content that includes:

  • Copyrighted characters or artwork — such as cartoon characters, movie stills, album covers, or illustrations you did not create and do not have a license for.
  • Brand logos or trademarks— using a company's logo without authorization may infringe their trademark rights.
  • Stock photos without a license — images from stock photo sites are typically licensed for specific uses. Make sure your license covers the use of the image in a personal or commercial invitation.
  • Photos of others without consent — always respect the privacy and dignity of the people in your photos.

When in doubt, use original photos you took yourself, or artwork you created. These are always safe choices.

SureGift Templates

All templates and background designs provided by SureGift are created or properly licensed specifically for use on this platform. When you select a SureGift template, you can use it freely to create your invitation — no additional copyright acknowledgement is needed for the template artwork itself.

If you add your own photos or custom artwork on top of a SureGift template, the copyright responsibility for those additions is yours, as described above.

Content Removal

SureGift reserves the right to remove, disable, or restrict access to any content that we believe in good faith may infringe on intellectual property rights or violate this policy.

If you believe that content on SureGift infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at the email address below. Include a description of the content, its location on the platform, and confirmation that you are the rights holder or an authorized representative.

We take these reports seriously and will review them promptly.
